Dirt Bike Riding Classes

"Where the adventure begins...and for some, ​a lifetime of adventure"

Wondering whether to take a one-day, two-day, or three-day course? One-day courses are designed to get you comfortable on a dirt bike and having fun. But, if you think you will want to pursue dirt biking, then the two-day (with optional third day) school is the way to go. We reinforce what you learned on day one and introduce new skills during the following day(s).

​​SCHOOL INFORMATION AND RATES

DB601 TWO-DAY DIRT BIKE SCHOOLS

  1. Kids or adults
  2. Check-in 9am each day. Over around 3pm
  3. Limited to 10 students per class; Ages 8 up (if younger, call), male or female.
  4. ​Parents are encouraged to take the course with their kids.
  5. Cost of schools is listed below including group rates.
  6. Special pricing for ex-dirt bike boot camp students or their families. See below.
  7. Cost includes: lunch each day, and lots of water and Gatorade for breaks; bonus is pictures and videos.
  8. Students must know how to ride a bicycle.
  9. Free primitive camping here and lots of lodging and camp-grounds nearby for out-of-town students. Sorry, student boarding at our facilities is not available yet, but camping is. Go here for lodging ideas.
  10. Students will learn the fundamentals of dirt biking. Each day will begin with a refresher from the day before and new drills will be added during the day. This is not a MX school and the dangerous aspects of dirt biking is kept to a minimum. There will be a lot of easy trail rides under the supervision of a coach.
  11. Students will not be left unsupervised.


DB101—FUNDAMENTALS OF DIRT BIKING

One-Day School. This course is the basic building block for all our other schools. Take this course before you take DB201 or before you buy a dirt bike. In it, we cover the fundamentals of what, when, where and how to ride a dirt bike. It doesn’t matter if you already ride a motorcycle or never been on a dirt bike. If you want to find out why a dirt bike is sooo much fun, or increase your skill levels, start here. Lunch is provided and plenty of water and Gatorade for breaks. Optional second- and third-days can be made at sign-up.


DB101—FUNDAAMENTALS SCHOOL
​One-day school.......$195.00
$175 each person for your family or group of 3 or more.
$150 each person for your family or group of 5 or more
Active duty military discount is $25 off the single or group rate for each person in your party. No further discounts once the rate is $150 per person.
 Bike rental for the school is $65 day 
Gear is $15/day (any or all gear)
Plenty of water and Gatorade
Lunch is provided

Second day "Rent and Ride"..... $165.00 

(includes bike rental, track fee, and gear rental)

DB201—NEXT-LEVEL RIDER SCHOOL

This school is the next step for the ex-student that has taken DB101 and wants to increase their skill level or wants a refresher. In it, we dive into more in-depth subjects including “attack position” and other riding positions, climbing and descending hills, riding in sand and gravel, jumping 101, cornering 101. All day school, usually held in conjunction with a DB101 school with a morning refresher of DB101. The afternoon is devoted to more advanced drills. You should be clutch ready, if not, take DB101. Lunch is provided and plenty of water and Gatorade for breaks.


DB201—NEXT-LEVEL RIDER SCHOOL RATES

(DB101 IS USUALLY REQUIRED FIRST)

Rates the same as DB101 schools

$175 each person for your family or group of 3 or more.
$150 each person for your family or group of 5 or more
Active duty military discount is $25 off the single or group rate for each person in your party. No further discounts once the rate is $150 per person.
Are you an ex-student? Special rate if you want to take the DB101 basic class again or take the DB201 advance class.​

DB301--OFF-ROAD SCHOOL

Two-day school for the hare scramblers or the trail rider that wants to improve their skill levels (or just be able to run with their buddies). Day one consists of DB101 basics and DB201 advance drills, with an emphasis on single track trails. Day two consists of a refresher of day one drills and more work on single track trails, hills, mud, ruts, gravel and even race starts (for the hare scramble guys) and a little MX thrown in for good measure. Hydration pack is necessary and an off-road bike (we have rentals available). Lunch is provided both days and plenty of water and Gatorade for breaks.

DB401—DUAL-SPORT SCHOOL

Two-day school. Similar to the off-road school; day one consists of DB101 basics and DB201 advance drills but also an overview on dual sport apparel, how to read a “roll chart”, and riding single-track. Day Two starts with a refresher and then an afternoon dual sport ride where you get the opportunity to use a roll-chart. Hydration pack a necessity, also a roll chart holder; GPS is optional but you need a street legal dual sport bike (we have a couple for rent). Lunch is provided both days and plenty of water and Gatorade for breaks.

DB501—ADVENTURE BIKE SCHOOL

​Two-day school. This course is designed for the beginner ADV Bike rider. Similar to the dual-sport school, in that day one consists of DB101 basics and DB201 advance drills on a dirt bike (rentals available). Also, an overview on adventure apparel. Day Two starts with a refresher of day one, but refresher drills are on your adventure bike. And then an afternoon adventure bike ride where you get the opportunity to use a GPS (if you have one) and your new-found skills (you and the coaches get to have some fun). You will need a hydration pack and an adventure bike (none for rent). Lunch is provided both days and plenty of water and Gatorade for breaks.

ALL TWO-DAY SCHOOLS......$395 (for both days)

$375 per person for your family/group of 3-4 
$350 per person for your family/group of 5 or more

Dirt bike rental for two-day or DB301 off-road classes (if needed)...$65 per day

KTM Dual-Sport Bike rental (if needed) for DB401 two-day class...$125 per day

Coaching sessions (for ex-students or advanced riders)..

$75 per hour, two-hour minimum

Two (or more) hours of instruction + free riding after school

Bike rental (if needed)....$165 for the day

(includes bike rental charge, CCDR track fee and gear rental)
CCDR track rental fee (if you use your own bike)...$50

Just want to come back and rent a bike and ride?

Rentals are only available to ex-students (insurance requirement)

​*Most weekend schools are either one- or two-day schools, Saturday and/or Sunday 

* Call-- if you do not see your date on the schedule--I can usually accommodate you.

* We have rental gear...everything from helmet to boots

* Lunch is included for schools (but not for day bike rentals) (usually pizzas-hey, we are in the middle of nowhere, LOL), and water and Gatorade.


WEATHER: ​We do not hold schools during bad weather or muddy conditions (The land around here dries out very quickly and even if there was a downpour the day before, we will be able to have a class the next day...)
